The role of Mahutonga for BNZ This piece lives along on the same screens in branches and above ATMs across New Zealand.
In Māori legend, when Tane sailed into the night sky to suspend the stars, he threw his anchor overboard and this become Mahutonga (The Southern Cross). Like Mahutonga , the Bank of New Zealand has been a constant for the people of Aotearoa.
